Ruhkhan stores the minimum needed to work: your email address (to sign in), and for each child a basic first name — with an optional last name — used only for the progress reports you request. Children's activity results (stars and practice areas) are stored so the app can guide their learning and show you their progress. That's it.
We will never sell, share, or trade your account information or your children's information. There are no ads, no trackers, and no third-party analytics. Ruhkhan exists solely to help children who want or need a little extra education.
Children never enter personal information. Kid profiles are created by the parent, contain only a first name and an avatar choice, and are reachable only from the parent's account. The app has no camera access, no photo uploads, no chat, no social features, and no way for a child to contact anyone. Purchase and account controls sit behind a parent gate.
You can request a full data wipe at any time from the Grown-Ups area inside the app. This permanently deletes your account and every piece of data connected to it — child profiles, progress, everything. You may also email us and we will do it for you.
Account and progress data is stored with our hosting provider (Supabase) and protected by row-level security so one family's data is never readable by another. Progress reports you choose to email are sent through a transactional email provider (Resend) solely to deliver that message to your own address.
The developer built Ruhkhan from experiences with their own kids: wanting something extra during summer break — something fun, something that helps with the specific areas each child struggles with. Any money this app makes goes strictly toward its development and enhancement.
All courses and lessons in Ruhkhan are custom-created by the developer as supplemental learning guidance. They are not affiliated with, sanctioned by, or accredited by any department of education, school district, or official curriculum body. Ruhkhan is a learning companion, not an official education program — always follow your local education requirements.
